Journal Profile of American Journal of Surgery Case Reports
American Journal of Surgery Case Reports (AJSCR) is an open access peer review journal which follows a double-blind peer review process.
The journal publishes case reports in all areas of surgery. Case reports must be authentic, understandable, educational and clinically interesting to an international audience of surgeons, trainees and researchers in all surgical subspecialties, as well as clinicians in related fields. The journal publishes original articles, reviews, case reports in the fields of gastroenterological surgery, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, pediatric surgery, transplant surgery, and emergency surgery.
The purpose of the journal is to contribute to the progress of surgery by providing clinicians and researchers with an educational forum in which to disseminate their personal experience and novel treatments to a wide readership and by reviewing interesting, rare cases encountered by colleagues all over the world, from whom contributions are welcomed.
Manuscripts number will be provided to the corresponding author within 72 hours for the respective manuscript submitted.
