Giuseppe Tonini, MD PhD, is Full Professor of Medical Oncology and Chief of the Division of Medical Oncology at Campus Bio-Medico, University Hospital of Rome. He is also Coordinator of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, Director of the Post-Graduate School of Medical Oncology, Professor at Phd School of Integrated Biomedical Science and Bioethics and Director of the Translational Oncology Research Laboratory. Professor Tonini is actively involved in clinical and translational research with a long standing expertise in the identification of new prognostic biomarkers and predictive responses to targeted therapy in solid tumors (mainly gastrointestinal). Current fields of investigation include clinical and molecular aspects of solid tumors (with particular attention to biliary tract cancers), supportive care in cancer and angiogenesis. For several years he has participated and conducted numerous international and domestic multicenter clinical trials in different application fields. He is an active member of ASCO, ESMO and AIOM and is also on the Editorial Board or Editor in Chief of numerous high-ranked international journals. Finally, he has authored over 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts, reviews and book chapters.

Frank Dor studied Medicine in Antwerp (Belgium) and at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands) (MD, cum laude). He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, leading to a cum laude PhD in transplant immunology. He was trained as a general surgeon and allround abdominal transplant surgeon at the Erasmus MC, University Medical Center Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He worked as a Consultant Transplant Surgeon and Surgical Director of Kidney Transplantation at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam until January 2016. He has been part of the Dutch equivalent of KAG for many years, and was board member and president-elect of the Dutch Transplant Society. He has been a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Dutch Kidney Foundation from 2012-2016. In January 2016, he joined the Imperial College Renal and Transplant Centre at Hammersmith Hospital, London, UK, as Consultant Transplant Surgeon and Head of Transplantation.Frank is an active clinical and translational scientist, and a passionate educationalist. He served as Chair of the education committee of the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) for 6 years until 2017, and is currently Activity Director of the ISPD European PD University for Surgeons, Director of the Live Donor Nephrectomy Course (LIDO course, ESOT), and co-chair of a MSc programme in Surgical Innovation at Imperial College, London. Furthermore, he is Senior Secretary of the UEMS Division of Transplant Surgery (responsible for the European Board Exams). Frank Dor is a Council Member of ESOT (Ambassadorship and Communication), and the British Transplant Society, and Member of the European Surgical Association. He is a board member and chair of the living donation working group of ELPAT (section of ESOT), and Chair of the Clinical Ethics Committee of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Currently, he is an Academic Editor of PLOSOne, Associate Editor of Transplantation, European Surgical Research, the World Journal of Transplantation, and editorial board member of more than 10 scientific journals. He has served as co-chair of the ISPD Guideline Committee on Peritoneal Access (2019). He is a well published author (>130 peer reviewed articles and book chapters).

Dr. Galetta degreed as M.D. in 1996 at Catholic University in Rome and there he completed his residency in Thoracic Surgery in 2002. His previous experiences included a period at the Thoracic, Cardiac and Transplantation Dpt. of University of Nantes, France in 1998 (Prof. J.L. Michaud), and from 2001 to 2003 at Dpt, of Thoracic Surgery of the Institute Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris, France (Prof. D. Grunenwald). He was degreed with the Diplome Inter-Universitaire de Chirurgie Thoracoscopique et Pneumologie Interventionnelle, Université René Descartes-Paris V,Paris, France in 2002. Dr. Galetta has become Ph.D.in 2009 at the University of Bologna, Italy. His main interests are in thoracic surgical oncology (lung cancer, pleural disease, mediastinal disease, chest wall disease). Dr. Galetta participated to 96 National and International Meeting as invited Speaker. He is a Reviewer and Editor member for different Surgical and Oncological Journals. He is author/co-author of 154 manuscript published on PUBMED, and of 15 Book Chapters.
